In a tragic maritime incident that has shaken our hearts, three Filipino fishermen lost their lives in a collision with a foreign vessel near Scarborough Shoal in the South China Sea. The Philippine fishing boat FFB Dearyn was struck in the early hours of Monday, and despite the bravery of the eleven crew members who survived the crash, the captain and others tragically perished. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assured the nation that a thorough investigation is underway to hold those responsible accountable.
